LOVELAND AMPHITHEATER
NORTHLAKE PARK
29TH STREET AND TAFT AVENUE
LOVELAND, COLORADO
The Loveland Amphitheater is an outdoor performing arts center located in the park area north of Lake Loveland. This center is a community focal point for performances in the outdoor life of the City of Loveland.
The facility provides a 1700 square foot covered stage area acoustically designed to project the sound of the performances out into the open seating area. The audience area is a quarter circle grass 'bowl' contoured into the slope of a natural hillside. The seating area is approximately 10,000 square feet and provides an informal seating arrangement for an audience of up to 1000 persons on the sloped hillside.

The stage is designed to accommodate performances of musical, theatrical, dance and other performing groups. Provisions are made for the installation of performance related lighting, sound systems and curtains as may be required by the variety of performances. In addition, the facility provides prop/storage rooms which may be used to store chairs, music stands and theatrical props. An electrical control room allows for the control of the lighting and sound systems. The facility also provides dressing rooms and public toilet facilities.

The facility is designed to fully comply with the requirements
of the Americans With Disabilities Act. The landscaped setting in the park provides an enjoyable recreational setting for the citizens of Loveland.
The facility opened on July 4th, 1996.
