This
small professional office complex houses the offices of the three
dentists who own the project. The dental offices of each owner are
located in a separate building. Each of the three buildings has a
unique floor plan and is approximately 2,400 square feet in area. A
fourth building of 4000 square feet provides lease space for other
professional offices.
Located adjacent to a residential area, the project was designed to
reflect the scale and finishes of the neighborhood. The buildings, all
one-story with stucco exteriors and tile roofs, are separated by heavily
landscaped courtyards. Large window areas open the buildings to the
exterior landscaping and wide solid overhangs and open overhead
trellis areas provide protection, shade and patterned shadows which
change throughout the day. Sklylights and clerestory windows admit
light to and brighten the interiors, complementing the perimeter window
views.
